St James and Kemp Town Village

Stretching east from the Old Steine, the busy shopping area of St James Street leads into the quieter village atmosphere at the heart of Kemp Town. As well as Boots and Safeway's, there are restaurants, cafés, pubs and food shops, second-hand book shops, an undercover flea market and antiques gallery and, in Kemp Town Village, designer goods and contemporary gifts.
