Brighton's pubs range from small cosy Victorian front rooms, converted churches
to large theme pubs housing every video game imaginable. Definitely
there's a pub for every conceivable taste.
Many pubs serve very good food, others stage live music, some even have
karaoke but all serve great beer.
If you like real ale Brighton is a paradise.
Some pubs even have their own micro breweries on site (
The Hand in Hand) so you can watch the
stuff brewing if that's what really turns you on.
Local notable breweries include Harveys in
Lewes.
Obviously we can't visit all the pubs (we've tried, OK?) so we've
created a form that anyone visiting these pages can add their
favourite pub and a short review (hopefully not after having consumed
5 pints!).
The only downside is you will have to know the address of the pub
(so a phone directory may be handy). We'll dip in every now and again
and clear up any typos. Publicans especially are welcome to add their
pubs. If you feel the details of any pub have changed please email us
and we'll update the entry. Thanks
N.b. All pubs are listed without the obligatory (mostly) 'The'.
